Leconfield Coonawarra was established in 1974 by noted oenologist, Sydney Hamilton. He named his estate Leconfield, after his English ancestor, Lord Leconfield, who resided in Petworth Manor House in the south of England. McLaren Vale vineyards take full advantage of the region’s proximity to the coast and temperate climate, with Leconfield Manor House Shiraz exhibiting red berries, fresh dark cherries and a hint of white pepper spice, met with exceptional structure and length.
